Job Description

In the Power Solutions division (PS), we work together to develop solutions that make mobility and society more climate-friendly. We build on our strengths as the world’s number 1 supplier for internal-combustion engines and create new business opportunities with products that reduce the carbon emissions of motor vehicles even further. With powerful thermal management technologies, we aim to increase the efficiency and therefore the range of electric vehicles. Our fuel cell system and our hydrogen engine enable us to create a climate-neutral powertrain. We develop a variety of other solutions along the entire hydrogen value chain, for example, for hydrogen production with an electrolyzer and for decentralized energy supply with a solid oxide fuel cell. Our comprehensive expertise in software, controls and services is one of our most important strengths and forms the foundation of our high level of system competence.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform planning, design, estimating, and execution of projects related to:  facilities maintenance, renovation and restoration, and testing equipment installation and relocation.  Develop scope of work and/or specifications for mechanical, plumbing, general construction, office and furniture relocations, and related systems for facilities projects. Procure design services by contract as needed. Coordinate contractor activities toward completion of tasks focusing on quality, cost, and timely completion.Budget control for capital and expense. Participate in development/achievement of departmental goals and objectives.Develop and maintain facility strategies for space utilization, occupancy planning, and testing equipment to meet goals, including utility planning. Investigate and solve facility related problems using standard problem-solving tools/methods.Lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery, and safety of site. Responsible for leading efforts to achieve key metrics including the organization and prioritization of task and projects. Support product teams, CIP activities, and site goals

Qualifications

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities, Management or Business AdministrationDetailed knowledge of facility systems and space planning,Excellent computer skills/ knowledge of AutoCAD.Ability to work cross functionally with product teams, testing teams and HSE.Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.Ability to learn new tasks quickly and handle confidential information.

Preferred Requirements:

Master Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Facilities, Management or Business Administration.One or multiple of the following certifications: PMP, CEM, FMP or SFP.
