Facilities Coordinator - New Store Openings
Overview: This position is responsible for new store opening activities as well as repairs and maintenance of J.Crew Retail and Factory Stores and Madewell Stores.
New Store Opening Responsibilities
Set up utility accountsSet up new stores on facilities management software, assign vendors by rank.Coordinate HVAC equipment surveysSet up store light bulb order guides with vendor based on drawingsSet up all PM services including HVAC, pest control, cleaning, fire extinguishers/systemsLoad punch list in facilities management software and track issuesConduct monthly check-in calls with new stores over first year of openingOversee incoming ticket routing in first year of opening to capture warrantiesConduct onsite store visit walk throughs of new stores Track expense spend in first year of openingCoordinate regularly scheduled calls with Construction and Store Ops business partners to review issuesPlan and coordinate quarterly check-in calls with business partners to review wear and tear and material failures in new storesGeneral Facilities Responsibilities and Special Projects
Review open jobs via reports run on facilities management software and updates via “Notes” to work orders and with phone follow-up with assigned stores and vendorsMonitor and update PM website for store scheduled services Work with vendors for any outstanding open, in progress or completed facilities calls to ensure closed out and invoiced in a timely manner Provide Manager with analysis and reports of vendor quality and work completionAs necessary, perform in-store audits for safety and maintenance issues including regularly scheduled store visitsReview and processes invoices and proposals up to $2,500.00Handle after hours emergenciesAssist with special projects such as rollouts and refreshes as neededQualifications

Hourly Range: $22.98 - $26.44At J.Crew Group (JCG) we aim to pay competitively for our company’s size and industry. The base salary offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region of work premises, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. The base salary is just one component of J.Crew Group’s competitive total rewards strategy that also includes the opportunity for bonus, competitive benefits and perks.
