The Facilities Coordinator I is encouraged to be highly organized, detailed, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

A day in the Life:

Provide administrative support to the site, including purchasing, scheduling contractors, and organizing bids.Coordinate maintenance activities, including scheduling repairs, ordering supplies, and maintaining maintenance logs.Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence as needed.Assist with the preparation and organization of meetings.Handle office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.Arrange logistics for inbound and outbound goods.Assist with the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing orientation materials and coordinating training sessions.Respond to inquiries from internal and external partners professionally and efficiently.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support site-wide initiatives and projects.Perform general administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office equipment.Network with various industry professionals and manage vendors, suppliers, or contractors.

Keys to Success:

Education

Two-year college degree or high school diploma or equivalent experience with at least two years of administrative assistant experience.

Experience

Experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Proven experience in an administrative support role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow through on commitments.Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Strong project management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Agricultural and Livestock Environment.Office environment, does not require working directly with animals.
