Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Facilities Coordinator Level 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located on site in Palmdale, California.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for overseeing dispatch, while creating work orders for maintenance.
Coordinates the construction, installation or rearrangement of equipment and building facilities and/or equipment and machinery maintenance for assigned areaMaintains contact with and directs contractor representatives and assists in resolving discrepancies in design specificationsVerifies labor expended and materials used and inspects projects for conformance to engineering standards and codes, building techniques and safety practicesEstimates percent completion of projects and advises designated individuals of cost statusManages day to day tool crib stock, receipts, issues, and transfersWill track and maintain the supply and usage of all the equipment coming in and out of the tool crib and required work orders. The tool crib attendant gives out the tools and tracks them to make sure they are returned at the end of the day. Obtains daily deliveries and brings into accountability.Maintain inventory and stock database Agile and ability to communicate with Vendors, Leadership, and Technicians regarding inventory and other tasksCreating Purchase Reqs (PRs) for Tool Crib StockBasic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of facilities experienceAbility to work a 4/10 schedule, 2nd Shift (3PM - 1:30AM)Ability to obtain and maintain a Security ClearancePreferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $42,000.00 - $70,000.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
