As a Facilities Electrician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and upgrading the electrical systems and equipment within our facility. Your expertise will ensure that our operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while adhering to all relevant codes and standards. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse systems and to be an integral part of a forward-thinking team.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with local and national codesDiagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutionsPerform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify potential issues before they ariseCollaborate with other team members to plan and execute facility upgrades and renovationsInterpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure precise installations and repairsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspectionsEnsure adherence to safety regulations and protocols to minimize risks and accidentsRespond promptly to emergency situations to mitigate electrical hazards and restore functionalityProvide input on energy efficiency initiatives and recommend improvements to reduce power consumptionSupport Safety, Environmental, Health, and Security StandardAchieve and maintain 100% completion of assigned EHSS training for yourself and your teamPerform safety analysis (Job Hazard Analysis) as requiredBe proactive in reducing incidents of personal injury, safety hazards, or environmental releasesMinimum qualifications2+ years of industrial equipment experience in facility maintenance or industrial settingA valid electrician's license or certificationFlexibility to work occasional weekends, evenings, or on-call shifts as neededStrong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety protocolsAbility to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematicsProficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipmentExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailProficient computer skills including spreadsheets and PowerPointPreferred QualificationsUnderstanding of semiconductor equipment and processesExperience in data extraction, analysis, and reportingAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
