Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Job Description

As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for establishing and managing annual maintenance and repair plans and budgets. You will oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring the facility remains safe, secure, and well-maintained. Additionally, you will manage facility investment plans, review construction drawings, and write specifications for new constructions.

ResponsibilitiesEstablish and manage annual maintenance and repair plans and budgets.Monitor the facility to ensure it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained.Oversee the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.Request renovations and issue purchase orders.Manage facility maintenance and repair performance.Establish and manage annual investment plans and budgets.Review facility investment techniques.Review construction drawings and make simple modifications (P&ID, etc.).Write specifications for new constructions and prepare construction documents for public use.Request quotations for new facilities and issue construction purchase orders.Manage facility investment performance.Review and repair facilities based on received requests.Manage and revise the facility operation manual.Conduct daily, monthly, quarterly, and yearly facility inspections.Identify the causes of facility abnormalities and review the technology.Prepare reports of abnormalities to manage the history, if needed.Plan to optimize the operation efficiency.Manage pipes (air, water supply, etc.).Analyze energy usage trends by each piece of equipment.Identify energy-saving potential items by equipment.Manage monthly energy-saving performance (operating time applied).Conduct and oversee operational safety inspections (PSV [safety valve], pressure vessel, and static pressure).Create and manage documents on facilities required by PSM/ISO.Take appropriate measures to improve facilities and correct non-conformities specified by PSM/ISO.Supervise the mechanical facility construction due to repairs and extensions or changes in the production line.Perform other tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsHVAC troubleshootingElectrical troubleshooting3+ years of experience in facilities/HVAC engineering rolesRoot cause troubleshootingProficiency in Microsoft OfficeExperience with HVAC systems and boiler systemsAdditional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferredExperience with utility equipment preferredGas boiler and NMP-related certifications preferredJourneyman or Master Electrical experience preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong customer orientationAbility to execute and achieve results while managing multiple prioritiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to support any shift in a 7-day work patternFlexibility to travel significantly during the initial plant start-up phaseWillingness to work remotely and in-person at temporary facilities as needed during start-up phaseLeadership behaviors including outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skillsPay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
