**Job Description:**
Our Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland team is looking for an amazingly talented Facilities Engineer and Project Manager – High Performance Computing to join our team in supporting the Army Research Laboratory's (ARL) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC)! The successful Candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless integration of new High Performance Computing (HPC) technology with existing systems, managing HPC revitalization projects, and providing expert support to laboratory researchers in their supercomputing projects.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Provide mechanical, electrical, and HVAC assessment, planning, and project management expertise to support bi-annual HPC technology insertions, ensuring timely and efficient integration of new equipment across ARL.
+ Lead the execution of a laboratory revitalization project to create state-of-the-art facilities for ARL's artificial intelligence and machine learning activities, driving innovation and collaboration among researchers.
+ Collaborate with laboratory researchers to develop proposals for HPCMP funding, and manage the resulting integration, ensuring successful project outcomes and maximum impact.
+ Manage all applicable processes related to the acceptance and integration of new HPC equipment, ensuring compliance with ARL standards and procedures.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Bachelor's degree in engineering
+ At least ten (10) and up to twenty (20) years of directly related experience in facilities management, project management, and facilities engineering
+ Experience in high performance computing environments
+ Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multi-disciplinary teams
+ Experience working in a research laboratory or similar environment a plus
+ What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
+ US citizenship
+ Department of Defense SECRET security clearance
+ Modeling – AutoCAD, Solid Works, Google SketchUp, Google Earth
• Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, Power Point, Project
• Programming – C, C++, Visual Basic

Salary Range:
$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
