We have an immediate opening for a Facilities Project Coordinator at our aerospace facility in Jacksonville, FLA.  The project coordinator will assist the Facilities Manager in the execution of the Facilities Transformation Plan. The coordinator will work with contractors and on site personnel to schedule work, update project status reports, and ensure projects are completed on time and under budget.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Participate in project design meetings and propose improvements if necessaryEvaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutionsPlan and manage team goals, project schedules and new informationSupervise current projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on trackManage project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and storedDirect project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emailsCommunicate with team members to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectivesAdhere to budget by monitoring expenses and implementing cost-saving measure
The ideal candidate will have the following combination of education & experience:HS Diploma/GED with 4 years of experience OR> AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 1-3 years’ experience.  Must have maintenance experience in a manufacturing/industrial environmentMust have 3-5 years Coordinator or Supervisory experienceMust be able to perform planned/preventative maintenanceDue to the nature of the work, candidates must be a US Citizen. 
Preferred Skills:Must have various types of pump overhaul and repair experienceHands on electrical experienceAerospace industry. 
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PMAbility to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
