Facilities Maintenance Lead Technician

Key Responsibilities/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Reviews & analyzes reports, records and directives, and confers with supervisor/managers to obtain data required for planning daily activities such as new PO’s, WO status, progression of work, daily problems encountered.Evaluates current Standards & Practices & SOPs for improvements and Implements by TrainingActs as liaison between customer and maintenance personnel to develop training plans and ongoing qualification assessmentsHandles Monthly Safety & Training and maintains adequate logs and inspection forms Monitors PM Compliance & Inventory tracking usage and labor to report quality of maintenance program Helps with Training and Development of all personnel is hard skills as well as soft skills for future leadership positionsAbility to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuitsMechanical experience with aligning bearings, shafts and drives. Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device. Ability to analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary. Troubleshoot network systems. Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices. Configure and troubleshoot IBM compatible computers.

Qualifications for the Position

Education/Training

2+ year facilities engineering experienceHigh school Diploma and Equivalent

Specialized Knowledge/Skills

Electrical:

* Ability to measure voltage and current accurately and safely and to use this data to troubleshoot circuits.
* Trained to work with 460,220,120 VAC and 24 volt DC circuits.
* Knowledge and understanding of motor starting circuits and power distribution circuits.
* Ability to read electrical schematics and evaluate operations based on these schematics.
* Ability to read ladder logic, download and upload PLC programs, and troubleshoot PLC functions.
* Ability to work with control circuits using such devices as: photoeyes, solenoid valves, limit switches, indicating lights and safety switches.

Mechanical:

* Align bearings, shafts, and drives.
* Adjust tensions of belts and chains.
* Ability to identify worn or damaged parts and to replace them.
* Develop an overall maintenance schedule based on the requirements of each device.
* Lubricate, oil, and clean devices as specified in their maintenance manuals.
* Work with pneumatic circuits involving cylinders and solenoid valves.
* Maintain printers.

 

Computer:

* Must be efficient in Excel.

* Must be efficient in Power Point.

* Must be efficient in Word.

* Analyze cards and chips and replace if necessary.
* Troubleshoot network (ethernet) systems.
* Troubleshoot cabling and I/O devices. 
* Ability to setup and analyze RS232/RS422 communications between computers or computer and peripheral devices.

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$22.95 - $38.25
