Collins Aerospace is excited to announce an opening for a Facilities Maintenance Manager position at our Santa Fe Springs, CA facility. This role is a critical leadership opportunity, where you will drive essential daily operations, ensure optimal facility performance, and spearhead initiatives to meet and exceed key production metrics.

As the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you will take charge of managing the maintenance team, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring our facility operates smoothly and efficiently. Additionally, you will play a vital role in overseeing site security, safeguarding our team, equipment, and operations.

What YOU Will Do

Leads and manages maintenance team across a complex organizational structure.

Oversees maintenance performed by internal maintenance teams and subcontractors, ensuring that maintenance activities are correctly conducted, certified and recorded.

Works in a team environment

Hires and trains department staff.

Organizes and oversees the schedules and work of staff.

Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.

Lead Reliability Centered Maintenance team/program and lead risk-based inspections.

Assist with JHA’s, 5S and Manufacturing /Quality investigations

Assist with site security duties and managing security personnel/guards

Ensure compliance with the approved maintenance management and workplace health and safety systems.

Ensure that maintenance requirements and requests are planned, scheduled and managed in accordance with program priorities.

Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure completion within budget, schedule and required quality outcomes.

Champion the deployment of the maintenance management system, including compliance with policy, regulations, safety and training requirements.

Trains employees on necessary WI’s, EI’s, SOP’s, etc.

Understands production status of area and schedule

Provides direction and on the job training to employees in the assigned area

Participates in continuous improvement and CORE events/activities

Complies and ensures adherence to all EH&S policies and procedures, including the use of PPE, housekeeping standards, and EH&S training requirements

Optimize utilization of all associate tools and provide subject matter expertise

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:  https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62 

Minimum 2 years of Emerson DeltaV experience interacting with and reviewing logic of the system

The salary range for this role is 112,000 USD - 224,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
