Facilities Maintenance Process Tech - 2nd Shift Department: Manufacturing Indirect Employment Type: Full Time Location: Liberty, SC Reporting To: Department Manager Description This position is responsible for installing, moving, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility support equipment. Key Responsibilities + Assist in all phases of moving and assembling equipment and furnishings throughout the facility, i.e., running conduit, hydraulic lines, air lines, etc. + Provide production operation support by performing PM’s on equipment, i.e. cleaning, changing out motors, filters, bulbs, etc. + Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. + Maintain equipment in an energy efficient, safe manner, keeping down time to a minimum. + Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them. + Work independently or with a team on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. + Provide training and support to co-workers and operators + Prepare hazardous waste for proper disposal/shipment according to policy. Education and Experience Requirements + 2 year technical degree or 3 years of experience maintaining systems in a manufacturing environment + Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems + Experience with PLC’s preferred + Basic computer operation, experience with using software in manufacturing operation + Ability to work independently and plan work without direct supervision. + Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead. + All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restriction to ITAR documentation and materials.
