Facilities Maintenance Process Tech - 2nd Shift

Description
This position is responsible for installing, moving, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility support equipment.
Key Responsibilities
+ Assist in all phases of moving and assembling equipment and furnishings throughout the facility, i.e., running conduit, hydraulic lines, air lines, etc.
+ Provide production operation support by performing PM’s on equipment, i.e. cleaning, changing out motors, filters, bulbs, etc.
+ Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas.
+ Maintain equipment in an energy efficient, safe manner, keeping down time to a minimum.
+ Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.
+ Work independently or with a team on troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues.
+ Provide training and support to co-workers and operators
+ Prepare hazardous waste for proper disposal/shipment according to policy.
Education and Experience Requirements
+ 2 year technical degree or 3 years of experience maintaining systems in a manufacturing environment
+ Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other systems
+ Experience with PLC’s preferred
+ Basic computer operation, experience with using software in manufacturing operation
+ Ability to work independently and plan work without direct supervision.
+ Frequent climbing, bending, lifting, kneeling, stooping, and working/extending overhead.
+ All applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without restriction to ITAR documentation and materials.

One element in our total compensation package is pay. The starting pay for this role is $26.00 to $30.00 per hour.
