Facilities & Maintenance Rotational Program
**Job Description Summary** The GE Aerospace Facilities & Maintenance Rotational Program exists to develop operational leaders who will accelerate facilities management, asset availability, and reliability through impactful rotational experiences. This program is a unique opportunity for top talent to take the next step in their Facilities & Maintenance career. Those accepted will be placed in a 2-year rotational program. Program Rotations geographically focused in: Cincinnati, OH (Evendale) / Florence, KY **Job Description** Candidates will complete three (3), eight-month rotations in the following areas: GE Aerospace’s On Wing Support team performs repairs in shop and at the flight line for all GE, CFM57, and LEAP engines including borescope inspection/blending, line replaceable unit (LRU), fan module, gearbox repair/removal, and many additional work scopes. Providing 24/7 Aircraft On Ground support, we dispatch OEM-trained technicians with tooling and parts to the flight line to provide repair solutions that help avoid unscheduled engine removal. We have locations in Cincinnati, Dallas, London, Doha, Dubai, Shanghai, and Seoul, allowing us to support customers around the clock and in every part of the world. Maintenance Management + Develop planning/scheduling standard work for preventive maintenance and corrective actions. + Drive improvement in asset reliability and facilities maintenance key performance indicators (KPI) metrics (i.e., PM Compliance) + Develop skills necessary to become a subject matter expert in Maximo Application Suite (MAS) + Impact maintenance culture through development of standard operating procedures, master instructions, and detailed job instructions. + Outline strategies to mitigate unplanned machine downtime. Facilities Management + Supervise and coordinate scheduled maintenance, repair, shut down and overhaul work. + Influence the development of real estate strategy for the site, including project management and process improvement. + Integration of energy/utility optimization in alignment with energy efficiency and sustainability + Collaborate cross functionally to ensure site compliance to local regulatory and corporate facilities standards. + Support loss prevention & risk reduction priorities based on site profile. + Own corporate lease management + Own sustainability projects Project Management + Assist in creation and maintaining of Project Management Processes + Lead projects through schematic, design engineering, financials, bidding, construction, and project closeout. + Manage project financials and schedule. + Manage projects using outside vendors and internal unions to execute projects. + Specify needs, communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research done. + Partner with business leadership and cross-functional teams to develop new solutions to meet business needs. **Minimum Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree accredited college or university with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Facility Maintenance, Project Management, and/or Operations ( **OR** ): + High school diploma/GED & professional certification (PMP, SMRP, CFM, etc.) with a minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in Facility Maintenance, Project Management, and/or Operations ( **OR** ): + High school diploma/GED A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Facility Maintenance, Project Management, and/or Operations + Must be able to travel up to 25%. **Desired Characteristics and Experience:** + Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments, and work in a fast-paced environment. + Mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial environment + Established project management skills. + Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. + Ability to influence others and lead small teams. + Willingness to work flexible schedules and take scheduled calls during off hours to accommodate the global sites. + Proven analytical and organizational ability. + Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn. + Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively. + Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed. + Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative. + Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker.
