Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Location: Nederland, Colorado

Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver.

Eldora strives to deliver Colorado’s Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors.   Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.

Job Summary/Overview: Do you have excellent craftsmanship, technical skills, a knowledge of maintenance best practices and love the mountains? Here at Eldora, we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure premium functionality of company facilities and property. The ideal candidate for this role must have prior building maintenance experience with strong skills in framing and finish carpentry, basic plumbing and electrical, drywall and basic commercial kitchen appliance repair. HVAC knowledge is not required, but helpful to have. This candidate would assist the Facilities and Grounds Manager with creating and completing regular maintenance project lists and managing work orders for Eldora’s buildings and base area. This role is responsible for supervising and training maintenance technicians to complete routine maintenance tasks, as well as completing larger scale projects for the resort. A strong background in project management, communication and teamwork is required. This position also ensures compliance with health and safety regulations. Experience with operating heavy equipment and machinery is also required.  

Basic Requirements: 

Must be able to lift and carry items up to 75 lbs. 

Must be organized and proficient with computer software systems for work orders, purchasing and Microsoft Office Applications  

Must have a valid US Driver’s License and complete an MVR check  

This position may require the use of a motor vehicle, and the employee is subject to comply with the Driver’s Standards of Eldora

Administration Duties: 

Managing and creating work orders through software systems.  

Working with contractors, obtaining quotes and invoices for accounting reconciliation.  

Scheduling of staff. 

Execution and documentation of safety meetings and trainings.  

Create routine maintenance plans and documents for care of buildings, equipment and property.  

Guest Service Duties: 

This position is a supervisor role in which the expectation is to uphold positive guest services initiatives both internally and externally.  

Ensuring excellent vendor or contractor relations and communication takes place through projects

Compensation: ​Proposed hiring rate of $28+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience
