Facilities Maintenance Technician

Position Summary

The maintenance technician is responsible for all maintenance needs of the facility. This position

with maintenance is responsible for the efficient and effective performance of repairs and

maintenance of site assets and facilities in conformance with regulations and standards.

Duties

1. Support production of V. Mueller and Snowden Pencer product lines and equipment/facility.

2. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various production and building equipment, including

hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems.

3. Disassemble, select repair procedure, order parts as needed, and repair or replace worn or

defective parts using hand and power tools

4. Performs preventative maintenance operations, including safety and environmental

systems, as prescribed by the system

5. Assist in moving or adding equipment

6. Perform routine carpentry and related work involved in maintaining the facility

7. Operates within and adheres to general plant rules and policies governing workplace

performance and Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures

5. Job Knowledge: PC experience and working familiarity with common desktop applications, including Excel and Word.

Education Degree High School Diploma or GED Required Experience

Two (2) years’ experience in a manufacturing company
