Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of our equipment and facilities. This role operates on a 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm with a rotating on-call schedule. You will be guaranteed 4 hours of pay whenever you receive a call.
ResponsibilitiesCheck equipment at the facility daily to ensure it is running and in good working order, and make repairs if necessary. This includes electrical, plumbing, and HVAC equipment.Complete general building repairs, including repairing and painting walls, doors, floors, etc.Fix leaks and stoppages, and repair or replace sinks, piping, valves, drains, and toilets as part of the plumbing system.Replace lighting components, ceiling tiles, and grid throughout the buildings and offices.Maintain building lighting, parking lot lighting, lighting contractors, emergency lights/exit lights, and 120-volt outlets, as well as photoelectric eyes for exterior building lighting and lighting contactors controlled by the energy management system.Maintain all equipment and inventory of products, including running snow blowers and spreading Calcium Chloride during winter months for snow removal.Maintain doors and door hardware by repairing or replacing if necessary.Ensure accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities.Communicate directly with customers and managers to ensure all aspects of work requests are understood, including part orders and any delays in completion.Repair and replace carpet tile and rubber base if necessary.Maintain other tenant spaces within the building to the same expectations, including plumbing.Essential SkillsPlumbingFacilities maintenanceElectricalCarpentryBasic hand toolsHVACTroubleshootingMechanicalHigh School Diploma or GED2-4+ years of relevant experiencePay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $21.00
