We’re on the hunt for a Facilities Maintenance Rockstar to keep things running smoothly at a warehouse location in Chicago. If you thrive on fixing things, keeping systems in check, and being the go-to expert, this is the job for you! You’ll be the behind-the-scenes hero ensuring HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems operate at peak performance while supporting a great team.
Keeping things cool (or warm!): Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.
Fixing what’s broken: Perform repairs, troubleshoot problems, and handle preventative maintenance.
Being the MVP: Act as the main contact for any facility-related issues.
Calling the shots: Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs.
Rolling up your sleeves: Handle general maintenance like carpentry, plumbing, and equipment upkeep.
Keeping it safe & sound: Monitor parking lot conditions, fire alarm systems, and building aesthetics.
Jumping into action: Respond to unexpected maintenance emergencies like a pro.
What You Bring to the Table:3+ years of maintenance experience in building operations.
Skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance (jack of all trades = major plus!).
A problem-solving mindset—you don’t just fix things, you make them better.
Great communication skills—you’ll be working with vendors, team members, and business partners.
Experience with computerized building management systems (bonus points if you’ve got it!).

Pay Details: $34.00 per hour
