Facilities Maintenance Technician
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Riverside, California. This role is based in the manufacturing industry, where you will be tasked with the upkeep and repair of our facilities, ensuring the smooth running of our operations. Responsibilities: • Conduct regular inspections of the building systems and production equipment to ensure they are up to code and working efficiently, including fire alarms, emergency lighting, and sprinkler systems. • Oversee the maintenance and minor repairs of the buildings, mechanical systems, carpentry, and electrical systems, including manual repairs as needed. • Coordinate with contractors, scheduling their work and supervising their tasks. • Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues with the building systems and equipment, ensuring swift resolution of any problems. • Act as the first point of contact for facility-related emergencies such as fire alarms, HVAC system alarms, and security alarms. • Ensure all building systems and production equipment is in safe working order to maintain a safe work environment. • Perform preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, and production equipment, including tasks such as lubricating, replacing parts, and calibrating equipment. • Complete all necessary documentation for the work performed and maintain accurate records. • Conduct safety checks of emergency lighting, smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and fire sprinklers to ensure they are functioning correctly. • Assist leaders and other workers with their tasks to ensure the smooth running of operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Facilities Maintenance Technician or in a related role. • Proficiency in OHSA. • Demonstrable experience with Water Pumps and HVAC systems. • Competency in Facilities Management. • Proven ability to conduct Facility Inspections and understand Manufacturing Facility operations. • Knowledge of Building Codes. • Skilled in Electrical work, specifically with Electrical Circuits and Electrical Repairs. • Ability to handle Light Electrical tasks. • Experience in Carpentry. • Familiarity with CNC Equipment and CNC Machines. • Proven track record in Equipment Maintenance and Equipment Repair, particularly with Manufacturing Equipment. • Understanding of and adherence to Environmental Regulations.
