Job Description
This role involves managing and overseeing facilities across four production sites in San Antonio, focusing on critical utilities such as water, electrical systems, and sprinklers, while ensuring compliance with MP standards and USP water regulations. The position requires a hands-on approach to diagnose and solve problems, advance departmental capabilities, and manage a budget while adhering to state and local codes, as well as OSHA regulations. Experience in bio, medical, production, or auto manufacturing environments is beneficial.
ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee facilities across four production sites in San Antonio.Ensure compliance with MP standards and USP water regulations.Diagnose and solve operational problems within the facilities.Advance departmental capabilities while working within the department.Manage budget and cut purchase orders efficiently.Ensure adherence to state and local codes and OSHA regulations.Engage with a team of 10 facilities maintenance technicians, including HVAC specialists, electricians, and journeymen.Collaborate with the independent Safety Team.Utilize Autocad for reading drawings and planning.Essential SkillsMinimum of 5 years of facility maintenance experience.Experience in AutoCAD for reading and understanding drawings.Knowledge of critical utilities management, including water and electrical systems.Ability to manage budgets and cut purchase orders.Understanding of state and local codes, and OSHA regulations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in pharmaceutical, bio, medical environments are preferredProduction, or auto manufacturing environments could also fit, but not preferredKnowledge of clean room operations and injectables.Experience with IO systems.Certification in CFM, PMP, or pharmaceutical industries.Experience with HVAC systems and work order systems.Work Environment
The position is based on a first shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to address unexpected issues. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with internal customers and engagement with a team of skilled technicians. Dress code and work attire are standard for an industrial setting.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $58.00 - $62.00/hr.
