Job Responsibilities:

Plans, designs, and reconfigures equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities.Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs. Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance. Conducts machine inventories and arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required equipment. Manages facilities contractor management process.Directs facilities programs at multiple sites and ensures compliance with government regulations for access control. Leads a team of facilities professionals engaged in planning, organizing, and scheduling for maintenance, construction, renovation, and repair of organization facilities to ensure proper upkeep of the organizations facilities and equipment. Builds relationship and contracts with vendors providing services including skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment, to ensure that operational objectives are met.Manages a team of primarily intermediate or experienced professionals, with freedom to determine how assignments are completed (e.g., objectives and approaches to completing work). Sets objectives and guides others on execution/approach for achievement of operational results. Problems faced are difficult and involve consideration of multiple variables.Explains policies, practices, and procedures and may influence others.Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others .

Qualifications: 

Licensed Electrical ( REE/PME) or Mechanical Engineer ( PME) with over ten (10) years of active experience in high volume manufacturing environment.Effective verbal and written communication skills both internal and external.Well-verse in the operation and maintenance of HVAC system, generator, electrical distribution system, fire protection system, building maintenance or project management.Knowledge and application in any computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).With strong leadership and management skills working with teams at different levels in the organization.Strong knowledge in the implementation of EHS programs and initiativesAdequate knowledge in the implementation of sustainability projects such as energy and water conservation programs.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
