Facilities Manager - Gold Coast University Hospital (Essential Services)

The Facilities Manager will be responsible for overseeing the facilities management services at Gold Coast University Hospital, focusing on essential work including the high voltage network, vacuum distribution system, security, and building management system.

We are seeking a strong leader who excels in managing projects, navigating complex challenges, and enhancing operational performance. This role demands a proactive approach to ensure optimal service delivery and compliance with standards.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance of site-based activities Plan, administer, and control budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies Maintaining and developing client relationships Lead and coordinate a team of technicians

Skills and Experience:

Relevant work experience in Facilities Management Trade Certification (electrical) required Strong business acumen with demonstrated business planning and high-level financial knowledge and skills. Proven capability of working within an environment using QA, OH&S, and environmental systems.  Personal valuees aligned with sustainability, integrity and putting people first.
