About the position:
The role is accountable for Chevron ENGINE Facility Management and serves as the liaison to the Enterprise SCM organization. The role works collaboratively with key stakeholders, including the Chevron ENGINE Leadership team, to influence business decisions and define/set the direction for workplace strategy. It involves building effective relationships with a broad range of cross-functional stakeholder groups and business leaders. The role also partners closely with SCM Global Shared Services (GSS) to deliver end-to-end SCM support to Chevron ENGINE, outside of Facilities Management.
Key responsibilities:
Manage the safe and efficient operation of Chevron ENGINE office space and all ancillary services required for its maintenance
Oversee the stacking and re-stacking of offices and workstations for employees and visitors according to Chevron ENGINE's evolving needs, including renovation, maintenance, and rearrangement as necessary
Provide a world-class workplace experience through continuous optimization of amenities, such as the cafeteria, collaboration spaces, and town hall areas
Conduct periodic safety and security inspections in collaboration with the HES, Safety, and Security teams. Perform routine and periodic maintenance of office facilities, including painting, water treatment, fumigation, sanitation, generator operation, air conditioning, HVAC, PA systems, fire alarms, and firefighting systems
Manage routine facility maintenance activities, including janitorial services, security services, and pest control
Serve as an active member of the CMT/AEMT during emergency situations
Work closely with the Chevron Travel group and CWT to ensure that all travel complies with Travel Policy 585 and related contract terms
Ensure the consistent availability of office stationery, food and beverages, and other consumables. Collaborate with IT to ensure the availability and installation of office equipment
Operate the �Chevron ENGINE Message Center� to facilitate smooth internal and external mail services for Chevron ENGINE
Ensure that Facilities team members receive proper job training, HES and Safety training, and mentorship. Guide facilities vendors on MSW and strictly implement the COEM Process
Monitor existing and current lease agreements and contracts related to Chevron ENGINE Facilities to ensure they are up-to-date and that all vendors deliver services as per contract
Required qualification:
At least 10 years of experience managing office facilities for a large organization in India
Demonstrated strong leadership experience, including the ability to manage a large office workforce and multiple vendors, including both technical and non-technical personnel, some of whom may perform high-risk work on-site
Strong knowledge of business strategies, metrics, and trends impacting decision-making and the achievement of business and enterprise goals
Proven track record of advising executive leadership, facilitating interdepartmental collaboration, and managing global stakeholders effectively
