Facilities Manager

  

CBS Colorado has an immediate opening for a full-time Facilities Manager to handle all aspects of maintenance for our 75,000 sq.ft Broadcast facility in Capitol Hill near downtown Denver, Colorado! This position reports to Director of Operations and Engineering. 


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform general maintenance tasks including minor plumbing, electrical and building repairs, property, and landscaping upkeep, as well as minor preventative maintenance on HVAC and other systems. Coordinate with key vendors to maintain various systems including life safety, plumbing, HVAC, generators, uninterruptible power supplies, etc. and maintain maintenance and compliance documentation for same. Coordinate inspections of life safety systems and ensure they maintain compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations. Monitor the Building Automation System to address any issues with the HVAC, hot and chilled water plant. Regularly inspect property exterior and facilitate any necessary repairs to keep the property safe and compliant. Assist the engineering department with snow removal as needed. Maintain interior lighting and perform bulb changes as needed. Coordinate and manage relationships with facilities vendors including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, painting, roofing, etc. Assist staff with various manual labor projects including furniture moving, picture hanging, etc. Other duties as required.


QUALIFICATIONS:

A minimum of 3 years’ experience performing similar tasks in a similarly sized facility Experience operating and maintaining large facility HVAC/plumbing/BAS systems. Experience operating and maintaining redundant power systems (Generators, UPS) 2+ year degree a plus Technical training a plus Management experience a plus Perform basic office tasks including writing reports, creating basic spreadsheets/performing simple math calculations, use a Windows computer with Microsoft office, monitor and send email, use a cell phone for communications, etc. Must be able to work on ladders and lift 50lbs unassisted. Must be proficient with hand tools including hammers, paint brushes, wrenches, etc. Must have a valid Colorado driver’s license.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

 

Hiring Salary Range: $70,000.00 - 80,000.00. 

 

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.  The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable,  as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
