Based at one of Brisbane’s finest office buildings, the Facilities Manager will be responsible for assisting with the management of all engineering systems and associated contractors to ensure optimal building performance.

You will take the lead in ensuring that customer service requests are dealt with promptly and that standards of service provided to all occupants within the building are retained at the highest levels with response times minimised.

Working with the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring; vendors are well-managed, planning and managing all contracts, confirming financial operations are exceeding targets, health & safety management, as well as the achievement of sustainability objectives.

Facilities Management is no longer ‘repairing and maintaining the space’, it is all about supporting and working with our clients to provide a superior workplace experience.

A snapshot of the day-to-day duties.

Proactively engaging stakeholders to ensure that on site client expectations are met

Ensuring vendors are well-managed, delivering services on time and within budget

Planning and managing all contracts to ensure that they are professionally delivered at the right costs

Following all financial processes

Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations with respect to fire, health, and safety standards

Reviewing existing operations regularly to reduce costs and improve operational standards

Active involvement in all property and JLL Sustainability program initiatives

Before you apply it’s worth knowing what we are looking for.

To be successful, you’ll have a proven track record in Facilities Management, with outstanding client service and interpersonal skills.

A passion and understanding of sustainability is required and you have a good knowledge of property systems including familiarity with building services software procedures and knowledge of occupational health & safety legislation and requirements.

You’ll be able to tackle a variety of complex issues within tight deadlines and be goal orientated, focused on exceeding performance targets.
