Facilities Manager

Position Overview:

The Facilities Manager oversees the daily operations and maintenance of multiple company-owned or leased properties, managing both internal staff and external contractors. This role is responsible for facility modifications, space planning, and personnel relocations, as well as administering service contracts. 

Review, prioritize and monitor work order requests and delegate tickets among Facilities staff. Go to person for support in solving issues safely, efficiently, and most cost effectively. Recognize areas that need the core issue resolved to avoid repetitive repairs. Hold facilities staff accountable for successful and timely completion of work orders. Conduct inspections of Fraser’s facilities and equipment, identify and correct unsafe conditions. Serve as an advocate for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and a resource for training staff and others. Must have an eye for detail and to “see” what a property needs by walking through and knowing it’s history. Develop, document, and maintain effective processes for the gathering, evaluating, assigning, monitoring performance, and documentation of requests for maintenance work, supplies and services. Must be able to multitask and constantly reprioritize based on new information that comes in daily. Assist in identifying needs and preparing estimates for long and short range capital purchases and the repair and improvement of Fraser’s facilities. Provide clear communication with stakeholders to minimize workplace disruption and ensure meeting of stakeholder expectations, schedule, and budget objectives.

Location, Schedule & Pay:

The Facilities Manager will office out of our Richfield, MN / some remote This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday during normal business hours, with the possibility of some off-hours and weekend availability as needed $75,000 to $85,000 depending on qualifications 

 Requirements for a Facilities Manager: 

High School diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary degree in facility management, engineering, or a related field preferred. Minimum five years of residential and commercial facilities management experience. Minimum of three years supervisory experience with success in managing a team. Engineering/construction/repair background or similar expected. Boilers license preferred. Access to a reliable vehicle required, in order to support multiple locations.
