**Facilities Manager Physical Environment Compliance** **Location:** Buffalo General Medical Center Location of Job: US:NY:Buffalo Work Type: Full-Time **Shift:** Shift 1 Job Description **Summary:** Under the direction of the Life Safety Director, this individual assists in all aspects of regulatory compliance, maintains a constant state of compliance with regulatory requirements established by as it relates to but not limited to DNV, OSHA, JCAHO, DOH, CMS, EPA, DEC and other authorities having jurisdiction. The Manager will assist the Life Safety Director in the identification, development and implementation of a corrective plan of action related to internal and regulatory findings. Responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the physical plant, grounds and related equipment. Assists the department director in preparing and administering annual operating and capital budgets. **Education And Credentials** **Responsibilities:** High School Diploma required. Associate's Degree of Occupational Studies in Building Design & Maintenance preferred. NYS Driver's License required. Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) preferred.
