We’ve got what you’re looking for. **Job Description:** We are currently recruiting for a **Facilities Manager- Wastewater** for NEOM The LINE in Tabuk, KSA. **Job Summary:** The Facilities Manager - Wastewater will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, and ongoing operation and maintenance of all wastewater treatment and disposal facilities within NEOM, with a specific focus on The Line. This role requires a deep understanding of sustainable wastewater management practices, advanced treatment technologies, and project delivery in complex, large-scale developments. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Lead Wastewater Infrastructure Development:** + Oversee the planning, design, and construction of all wastewater collection, treatment, and disposal infrastructure, including: + Sewer networks and pumping stations + Wastewater treatment plants (e.g., biological treatment, membrane filtration) + Sludge treatment and disposal facilities + Reuse and recycling systems + **Ensure Sustainable Practices:** + Implement sustainable wastewater management strategies that minimize environmental impact and maximize resource recovery. + Promote water conservation and reuse initiatives. + Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and standards. + **Manage Operations and Maintenance:** + Develop and implement comprehensive O&M plans for all wastewater facilities. + Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of wastewater infrastructure. + Manage a team of technicians and operators responsible for facility maintenance and repairs. + **Monitor and Control Performance:** + Monitor the performance of wastewater treatment facilities and identify areas for improvement. + Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities to ensure optimal system performance. + Implement corrective actions to address any operational issues or non-compliance. + **Collaborate with Stakeholders:** + Collaborate with other project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, construction teams, and environmental regulators. + Build and maintain strong relationships with local communities and relevant government agencies. + **Stay Updated on Industry Trends:** + Stay abreast of the latest advancements in wastewater treatment technologies, sustainable practices, and industry best practices. + Attend industry conferences, workshops, and seminars to expand knowledge and network with industry professionals. **Qualifications and Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. + 15+ years of progressive experience in the planning, design, construction, and operation of wastewater treatment facilities. + Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes, technologies, and regulations. + Experience with sustainable wastewater management practices, including water reuse and resource recovery. + Proven experience in managing and leading teams. + Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency in relevant engineering software. **Key Competencies:** + Leadership + Technical Expertise + Project Management + Communication + Collaboration + Problem-solving + Sustainability + Environmental Stewardship Parsons equally employs representation at all job levels no matter the race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability or genetic information.
