Direct, monitor all team members and the associated tasks and functions in support of daily operations, projects, and emergencies. Direct and monitor the team ensuring the development of work requirements and tasks, while aligning appropriate resources to support the successful completion of tasks.Develop and oversee the master schedule of facility services and associated ground operations.Develop operational budget ensuring compliance with county guidelines.Provide financial stewardship ensuring that all vendor work is properly completed. Provide oversight for all vendor related services ensuring compliance with associated contracts.Monitor, analyze and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of all aspects of work performed.Conduct scheduled review of all associated work requests.Develop and execute a plan to address any backlog work as well as any requests that require additional external support.Utilize available analytics to make appropriate adjustments and alignment of resources.Ensure alignment of team's performance with established key performance metrics.Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
About YouMinimum Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a highly related field AND four (4) years of job-related experience in facilities management, grounds management, or landscaping, horticulture.-OR- Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND six (6) years of job-related experience in facilities management, grounds management, or landscaping, horticulture.-OR- Professional-related experience may substitute for the required degree on a year-for-year basis.Two (2) years or more of supervisory experience in the related field. A valid Florida Driver's License at the time of hire.Preferred Qualifications:
Working experience with institutional, governmental buildings and property systems and devices performing a mix of work from installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, supervising. Experience with work order management Archibus.Experience working with Excel spreadsheet-skilled, Smartsheet-skilled, Building Automation - User level understanding application of various methods and best practice applied to building systems.Knowledge of structural systems plus the ability to read and interpret building and system drawings, schematics, an understanding of ADA Regulations and experience in institutional, commercial, industrial building systems.Subject to Passing Substance Screening: This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening. An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five (5) years.
CJIS Clearance: **The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.

Starting Pay Range: $75,233.60 - $83,000.00/ annually, based on experience.
