Facilities Operations Manager - Site Lead

Responsibilities Position Overview: Arcfield has an opportunity for an experienced Site Manager to manage infrastructure projects and facilities supporting critical government projects, while maintaining high standards of employee and facility safety and compliance with applicable government regulations. The Site Manager will oversee and coordinate all facility and IT upgrades for Arcfield’s Colorado Springs, CO, Albuquerque, NM and Washington Navy Yard, DC facilities. This role includes facility operations and compliance with governmental security and safety regulations at select Arcfield facilities related to Navy programs. The Site Manager will coordinate activities of various Arcfield functional teams and oversee any facility or communications modifications/construction needed at select Arcfield locations in response to emerging contract or mission requirements. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO. Key Responsibilities: Project Oversight and Coordination: Manage on-site facility operations, overseeing the activities of geographically dispersed functional and operational teams and ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budget requirements. Coordinate with government representatives, contractors, and subcontractors to meet facility-related project milestones and specifications. Facilitate project meetings with stakeholders to review project scope, identify and resolve potential issues, and ensure alignment of project schedules with contract deliverables. Manager and monitor site modification projects, making real-time adjustments to schedules and resources as required to ensure project objectives are met on time. Coordinate with corporate IT and security functions as required for the installation of secure government networks within Arcfield facilities at multiple sites. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local safety and security regulations, as well as government contract requirements. Conduct recurring facility inspections, audits, and quality assessments to ensure project adherence to safety and compliance benchmarks. Safety and Risk Management: Design and implement a site-specific safety plan, ensuring all team members are trained and comply with safety standards. Manage regular safety briefings and training sessions, fostering a culture of safety awareness on site. Proactively identify risks and hazards, develop mitigation strategies and be ready to implement mitigation measures as needed to prevent security issues, work disruptions, or delays in project execution. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all site activities, including project progress, safety incidents, and financial expenditures. Prepare and submit regular project updates to senior management and government clients, providing transparency and status reports on key metrics. Organize and archive all project documentation in accordance with company and government standards, ensuring accessibility and compliance. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Possess and Maintain a TS clearance, with ability to obtain an SCI. BS 10-12 years of experience; MS 8-10 years of experience; or PhD 5-7 years of experience. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree). A minimum of five years of experience in project site management, engineering, or project management with a strong preference for government contracting environments. Primary work location is on-site at Arcfield’s Colorado Springs facility; remote work may be considered if approved by manager. Role may involve travel and extended hours depending on project or site security requirements. Must adhere to all site-specific safety, security, and regulatory protocols. In-depth knowledge of federal acquisition regulations (FAR) and experience with government contracting processes. Demonstrated Managerership ability and team management skills, with the capability to resolve conflicts to ensure site physical security requirements are continually met. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. Eligibility to obtain and maintain required government security clearances. Preferred Qualifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent credential. Experience managing LEED-certified projects or other sustainable initiatives in construction. Familiarity with the specific standards, procedures, and safety protocols of the relevant government agency or agencies. Equal Pay Act This is the projected compensation range for this position. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
