There is an opportunity for rotational schedule across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift with hours as follow:

1st shift is 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM

2nd shift is 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM

3rd shift 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM

The primary role of Facilities Operations Specialist is to efficiently manage the operation of ResMed’s facilities to minimize operational and life cycle costs. Key deliverables include providing safe, effective, efficient and responsive services to all areas of the business, covering facility, production and IT services. Providing asset and maintenance management of electronic and software based technological systems required to manage and monitor buildings, plant and equipment or provide services to staff, visitors and contractors.

Under the direction and supervision of a Supervisor, may conduct minor repairs to the facilities and premises as assigned including painting, patching, office and kitchen equipment, furniture, walls, ceiling tiles, carpeting, floor tiles, painting, patching, office and kitchen equipment, minor electrical, furniture, walls, ceiling tiles, carpeting, floor tiles, Basic HVAC knowledge a plusConducts physical inspections of the facility, grounds, premises, hallways, common areas, restrooms,Performs preventative and routine maintenance on systems such as air conditioning, HVAC, and pumps, equipment, fixtures, and furniture in the office.Conducts electrical and plumbing repairs, HVAC maintenance, and equipment inspections.Coordinates activities with Vendors providing services on siteTroubleshoot problems, performing repairs, and conducting preventative maintenance on equipment and machineryOther duties assigned by the management

High school diploma or equivalent5+ years of related experience in facility maintenance and repairIn depth knowledge of Environmental, Health and Safety regulations and standardsStrong mechanical and technical skillsAbility to use various tools and equipmentGood communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently or as part of a team

Preferred:

Experience with CMMS and BMSHVAC EPA Universal Certification preferred

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is:

$35.64 – $53.46 USD Hourly
