**The Opportunity**
This position works out of our Zona Franca Coyol Alajuela, Building B31 location in the Vascular Division.
As the Facilities Project Leader, you’ll be responsible for providing a Facilities Engineering service to the plant to ensure the optimization of the systems. This position is responsible for prioritizing, scheduling, budgeting, and supervising Facilities capital and expensed improvement projects as required. This includes planning research, preparing reports, handling information requests, documenting procedures, tracking data, and organizing related to assigned projects, and displays the ability to work well with all levels of internal and corporate staff, as well as outside clients and vendors. Provides technical oversight of major and minor capital improvement projects. Position will also serve as liaison with corporate planning and divisions for all future infrastructures.
**What You’ll Do**
+ Lead the Site Master Plan process, in order to fulfill site growth of manufacturing and support spaces and ensure that current revenue is optimized and aligned with the Site Master Plan and Strategic Objectives.
+ Provide Project Management Leadership and assists with the creation of the one (1) year and five (5) year Capital facilities projects list.
+ In charge of reviewing all facilities issues proposing new infrastructure and/or facilities systems improvement projects based on AVRC site needs.
+ Develop and review design and documents changes (blueprints, technical specifications, PM routines etc.) for all facilities systems. Ensure correct preventative maintenance plans are in place for new and/or existing equipment.
+ Provide cost estimates and project coordination of assigned facilities and maintenance improvements.
+ Support on the continues improvement of the maintenance programs for building and facilities systems such as evaluating maintenance alternatives, general facilities preventative maintenance and recommends corrective actions.
**Administrative Shift [from 8am to 5:00pm]**
**This is an On Site position**
**Required Qualifications**
+ Bachelor’s degree: electrical, electromechanical or maintenance engineering
+ 5-7 years of experience
+ Internal and/or external experience in a regulated industry (Pharmaceutical, electronics or Medical Device) desired.
+ Demonstrated experience in project management, construction projects, contractor management and space planning.
+ Knowledge managing internal and external stakeholders and working with internal and external design firms since architectural and electromechanical standpoint.
+ Excellent customer service and communication skills.
+ Good knowledge of OSHA Standards ft GMP's.
+ Knowledge in the following software: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
+ Fully Bilingual (English and Spanish)
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Master's degree in Strategic Planning, Production Engineering, Project Management or related fields.
