Facilities and Maintenance
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Project Manager to join our team as an employee representing the owner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing commercial construction projects, with a preference for experience in manufacturing, industrial, or mission-critical facilities. This individual will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with the owner’s objectives, budget, and timeline.
What you’ll be doing as a Facilities Project Manager
• Project Oversight: Act as the owner’s representative, managing all aspects of construction projects, including planning, design, construction scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Design Construction Management: Oversee project execution, monitor progress, and manage construction schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Cost Management: Review and approve budgets, cost estimates, and change orders; ensure cost control measures are in place.
• Contract Administration: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on the project.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Bell health and safety standards.
• Reporting: Provide regular project updates to senior management, including status reports on schedule, budget, and key milestones.
• Problem Solving: Address project challenges promptly, working with all parties to resolve issues effectively and maintain progress.

Skills You Bring To this Role
• Working knowledge of design and construction management principles, methods, and practices.
• Familiarity with project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build.
• Experience in construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, or similar tools a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, contracts, and specifications.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration among diverse teams.
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
What you need to be successful
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager in commercial construction projects or with an AE (Architectural/Engineering) firm.
Experience with manufacturing, industrial, or mission-critical projects is highly preferred.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
