Facilities Project Manager I (1.0FTE) Georgetown

Purpose

The Facilities Project Manager provides project management services related to facilities projects. Individual responsibilities vary by project depending on the nature of the project, department priorities, workloads, etc.

In this position you will:  

Provide project management services related to capital maintenance and improvements, new site startups, site closures, insurance claims and other Facilities projects. For instance: Coordinate project feasibility assessments. Develop project budgets, track expenses and ensure projects are completed within budget. Develop project schedules, monitor milestones and ensure projects are completed on time. Create and manage project work plans. Coordinate the work of internal and external team members. Communicate effectively regarding roles and responsibilities, priorities, progress etc. Solicit and facilitate internal input to ensure project outcomes appropriately support operational needs and adhere to organization’s Facilities standards. Coordinate vendor selection and ensure process and results are properly documented. Track lien rights and ensure all rights are appropriately waived, documented and filed. Work with Development team to coordinate grant requirements and ensure compliance. Coordinate project insurance and assist with organization’s property insurance needs. Provide effective, reliable and responsive support to Neighborcare teams. Support real estate portfolio activities – lease administration and negotiation, site acquisitions and dispositions, and recordkeeping. Review contracts and leases, advise on terms, negotiate terms as needed,track and ensure compliance. Manage project furniture, fixture and equipment needs Plan and oversee physical moves, including scheduling, vendor and staff coordination, training and orientation, safety, budgeting and expense tracking etc. Maintain comprehensive project records in shared storage, i.e. Owner & Maintenance Manuals, as built documents, warranties, drawings, specifications, contracts, pay applications, change orders, insurance etc. Provide space planning services, to include furnishings and equipment layout, code compliance, associated facilities modifications, scheduling and team coordination etc. Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

Required for this job:

Working knowledge of facilities infrastructure, systems and maintenance. Ability to create, implement and communicate detailed project work plans, budgets and schedules. Ability to effectively lead teams and develop positive and productive relationships. Strong planning, problem solving and project management skills, including the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once. Working knowledge of real estate services, leasing and landlord/tenant relations. Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and Outlook. Good attention to detail and ability to multitask while performing job duties under high levels of activity and a variety of conditions. Ability to plan functional and efficient spaces, including knowledge of basic ADA and code compliance. Ability to plan and coordinate furniture, fixture & equipment needs, ordering and installation. Solid oral and written communication skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and understand basic math. Ability to work well with diverse people.

Required qualifications:    

High School diploma or equivalency. 3-years facilities project management.

Washington Driver’s License and appropriate auto insurance.

Preferred qualifications:

College education. 5-years facilities project management.

Compensation 

The wage range for this position is a minimum $71,052.80 to $96,553.60 maximum.

Compensation will be determined based on years of relevant experience.
