We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Reliability Engineer to join our team. This role involves ensuring the reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness of multiple facilities and the critical infrastructure systems. The position is onsite in the RMS Orlando facility, and will provide remote and onsite support at the Clearwater and Colorado Springs facilities. The successful candidate will develop and implement maintenance strategies, analyze and mitigate equipment failure risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize facility performance and minimize downtime.
The Work
As a Facilities Reliability Engineer, you will:
1. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment and system failures to develop corrective actions shared across the enterprise.
2. Develop and implement tailored maintenance strategies for each site to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize facility performance, minimize downtime, and reduce operating costs.
4. Conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) on equipment and develop long-term asset replacement schedules.
5. Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, failure patterns, and risks, proposing effective mitigation strategies.
6. Create and maintain reliability and maintainability (RAM) models, FMEAs, and IIOT strategies for condition monitoring.
7. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
8. Provide technical guidance and support to operations, maintenance, and engineering teams.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility performance, safety, and efficiency.

Who You Are
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or 12 years field experience. Master’s degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in facilities maintenance, reliability engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in root cause analysis and failure mode analysis.
• Knowledge of maintenance strategies, condition monitoring techniques, and reliability tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and influence outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
A level 5 employee is typically a subject matter expert and has 12 to 14+ years of professional experience.

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field or 12+ years related field experience.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience in a facilities engineering or maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment.
3. Ability to analyze maintenance report data to identify, develop and drive action plans for performance improvement
4. Strong understanding of reliability engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and failure modes.
5. Extensive experience with CMMS administration.
6. Experience with root cause analysis (RCA), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability modeling techniques.
7. Proficiency in engineering tools and software, such as Microsoft Office, CAD, and data analysis applications.
8. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
9. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
10. Ability to obtain and maintain a government DoD security clearance at the Secret level.
