Facilities Specialist
**Key Responsibilities** Performs a variety of complex electrical trade functions such as the inspection, repair, installation, modification, and maintenance of electrical equipment, systems, and circuits. Diagnoses trouble in the electrical system or plant equipment. Uses specialized measuring and testing instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, ohmmeters and meggers. Makes standard computations relating to load requirements of wiring or electrical equipment. Makes daily, periodic, or special inspections of the premises to determine repair work necessary. Includes maintaining and repairing the facility's structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing and HVAC Work from blueprints, drawings, or rough sketches. Performs skilled trades works, such as carpentry or painting in the construction, repair or alteration of structures such as walls, roofs or office fixtures. Works with manufacturing or process engineering in the installation or repair of building mechanical and or plumbing. Oversees contractor-supplied maintenance services, including janitorial, landscape, HVAC servicing and rubbish removal. **Other Requirements:** This is a physically demanding position that often requires standing for extended periods of time, walking, working in tight spaces, bending, squatting, twisting, kneeling, reaching, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, the ability to distinguish between colors, the ability to work in an environment with noise that may be difficult for some individuals with sensitivity to noise, and the use of hand and power tools. This position requires the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to welding helmets, hand shields, goggles, respirators, fire/flame resistant clothing and aprons, and gloves. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
