Execute day-to-day operational facilities management services and activities to ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective operation of Canon’s HQ - The Facilities Operations Specialist is a key member of the Facilities Management team.
Day to Day Management of FM suppliers (cost, quality, timeliness) for soft services and key support to hard service contracts.
This includes the supervision of the day-to-day activities of the regional Canon UK sites and services.
Support the execution of hard services and maintenance contracts.Support the development of preventive maintenance strategies.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards in all maintenance activities.Support the preparation and construction of soft service contract renewals and amendments
Consult with internal stakeholders to ensure in-time solutions to facilities management related changes
Supporting the UK Facilities Manager as required
Work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the facility is managed and maintained to the highest standard
Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers, including contractors, suppliers’ personnel, ensuring timely delivery of services and adherence to quality and compliance standards.
Health, safety & sustainability compliance: Ensure support to hard services specialist on compliance and all health, safety, and environmental regulations/Actions required to maintain a safe and secure workplace.
Ensuring the support to maintain ambitious standards are delivered for VIP and HQ events, working with event and VIP stakeholders to deliver customer needs and bespoke services to meet the needs of the VIP/Event
