Job Responsibilities

As a Facilities Support Specialist, you will directly supervise associates in the Accounts Payable Department and carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Your specific duties in this role will include:

Perform troubleshooting and repairs for facility systems, including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire suppression systems. Conduct preventative maintenance for guest rooms, public spaces, and equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and warranty specifications. Participate in routine tasks such as painting, carpentry, and landscaping, including snow removal and seasonal outdoor work. Ensure swimming pool and spa maintenance complies with health regulations. Manage and track inventory of supplies, tools, and parts; ensure timely procurement and restocking. Assist in operational transitions and hotel openings, ensuring proper setup and compliance with brand standards. Maintain the appearance, upkeep, and cleanliness of facilities and operational areas. Conduct and facilitate training for staff on fire safety, maintenance protocols, and company policies. Coordinate work assignments and monitor task completion through logs, reports, and meetings. Communicate with other departments to ensure operational alignment, including resolving facility-related guest issues promptly. Participate in any assigned administrative tasks. Travel to assigned locations as needed.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated Facilities Support Specialist with a strong work ethic and a drive to exceed expectations. It is also important that you have excellent communication skills.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

·         Two to four years’ experience and/or training; Associate's degree (B. A.) from two-year College or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         Ability to work as part of a team and complete tasks individually

·         Solid organizational, time-management and prioritization skills

·         Exceptional customer service skills
