THE JOB:
Join the MGM Grand Facilities Team! As a Facilities Tech, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining our iconic resort, performing essential maintenance and repairs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. From handling routine upkeep to tackling reactive repairs, you'll play a key role in ensuring everything runs seamlessly. THE STARTING RATE: $39.62

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

Perform Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct routine and complex maintenance on all mechanical and electrical equipment across the property. Complete tasks assigned by Dispatch or Management, ensuring thorough logbook documentation.

Tool & Equipment Operation: Use power and hand tools to carry out job assignments; utilize diagnostic tools such as amp meters, voltmeters, ohm meters, and compound gauges to troubleshoot electrical and gas issues.

Blueprint & Wiring Knowledge: Read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics to effectively install and service electrical components.

Property Knowledge & Technical Awareness: Familiarize yourself with the property layout, including hotel rooms and equipment; stay updated on the latest techniques and methods, and report any unusual conditions to the Shift Supervisor.

Safety & Cleanliness Focus: Maintain a strong awareness of property cleanliness, safety, and accident prevention, always ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

Age: Must be 21 years or older.

Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the hospitality industry or a similar field.

Availability: Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
