Facilities Technician Location: Pittston, PA Business Unit: Distribution START YOUR APPLICATION (https://apply.hrmdirect.com/resumedirect/ApplyOnline/Apply.aspx?req\_id=3392117&source=3392117-CJB-0) Pittston, PA The Facilities Technician position is responsible for keeping Benco's CenterPoint facility safe, clean and in good repair. This position will provide a wide range of tasks and repairs to facility as needed. This position will perform preventative maintenance in efforts to contain costs and maintain a professional-functioning facility. Work hours may fluctuate based on business needs, including being responsible for on-call instances. Mon-Fri 9:30am-6pm unless otherwise noted by Manager Duties and Responsibilities: + Perform carpentry for office build-outs, framing, drywall hanging, spackle, painting, electrical, drop ceilings, cube reconfigurations, office furniture assembly, etc. + Implement and oversee all building-related programs and procedures to ensure facility is clean, safe and in good repair + Implement preventative maintenance programs for utility systems, equipment and building maintenance + Schedule and perform repairs and preventative maintenance as necessary + Maintain accurate records of maintenance contracts, preventative maintenance and repairs + Address all maintenance requests + Ensure consistent maintenance and repair methods for all building components + Understand, develop and track the operating expenses related to maintenance, repair, utilities and supplies, and assists with the departmental budget + Assist with other functions and perform other duties as instructed + Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess: + Intermediate to advanced proficiencies in building trades including painting, wallpapering, plumbing, HVAC maintenance and electrical + Ability to adjust/alter workflow on repairs or assignments + Excellent organization skills, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity + Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively with all associates + Ability to perform arithmetic calculations + Need to speak and read English + Experience with commercial electrical and use of DMM + Ability to repair Dock Plates, Dock Vehicle Restraints, and Overhead Doors + Ability to install and repair warehouse racking The Experience We Are Looking For: + Education: High School Diploma / GED + Experience: Five years working in a similar position with similar responsibilities Why Join our Team? + We drive dentistry forward by leveraging innovative solutions and our caring family culture. + Family-owned for 80+ years + #19 Best Companies to Work for in Health Care + Annual Profit Sharing + Medical, Dental, Vision effective Day 1 Who We Are: It-s our mission to deliver success smile after smile.
