Job Title: Facilities Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in turnover of apartments, including painting, and the ability to diagnose and potentially troubleshoot mechanical issues. Additionally, the ability to patch walls is required.

ResponsibilitiesObserve and adjust a wide variety of mechanical machines and devices to assure proper operation, including pumps, motors, air handling units, refrigeration and air compressors, and laboratory equipment.Dismantle machines and devices for servicing, repair, or replacement of parts.Adjust devices, instruments, belts, etc.Lubricate and clean pumps, motors, fans, machinery, equipment, and operating hardware.Replace gaskets and seals on water coolers and other equipment.Regulate steam or hot water equipment in mechanical rooms, offices, laboratories, residence areas, etc.; adjust valves, thermostats, and dampers.Maintain time and material records.Perform minor inspectional duties as directed.Essential SkillsExperience with turnover in apartments, including painting.Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.Ability to patch walls.Skills in maintenance repair, painting, installation, and preventative/corrective maintenance.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with a variety of mechanical machines and devices.Experience with pumps, motors, air handling units, refrigeration and air compressors, and laboratory equipment.Experience with dismantling and servicing machines and devices.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position offers a flexible shift from 7:00AM to 3:30PM, with the possibility of varying the start time by an hour earlier or later if needed. The work will be conducted across several locations in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
