Position Summary
The Facilities Technician will ensure that receiving and shared put away processes are completed timely and with the highest quality standards. He/she will be responsible for receiving areas while also driving process improvements to departmental functions. Plug and its employees must remain vigilant to meet delivery commitments as well as maintain an effective flow of materials as needed. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with a demonstrated track record of working in warehousing and facilities environment. This individual must be prepared to adapt to the changing needs of the Spokane facilities.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Education and Experience
High school diploma required; associates or vocational degree preferred. Three (3) or more years of relevant work experience within a warehouse/logistics/facilities function; preferably as part of a warehouse environment.Supervisory experience with a successful track record of leading a team.Strong leadership skills include daily communications with the team and with internal customers.Excellent understanding of material movements, storage techniques, pick processes, and use of systems and databases to manage materials.Computer and software systems skills as applicable to position including but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Experience with ERP/MRP systems is a must; Avante experience preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Dynamic interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences and stakeholders at all levels.Uncompromising dedication to quality.Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail.Excellent follow-through.Must be driven and self-motivated.Pay Rate:
