General Summary

Applies a working knowledge with several of the essential job accountabilities. The qualified Craftsman should also possess a basic understanding for various other responsibilities represented under the remaining essential job accountability categories.

The following are essential job accountabilities; Plumber - Understand methods involved in assembling piping materials such as copper, black iron, cast iron, PVC, and others. - Be able to effectively solder, braze and assemble piping systems with proficiency and accuracy per code. - Basic understanding of domestic water, sanitary waste, and steam systems with the ability to troubleshoot and make basic repairs. - Ability to read riser diagrams and plumbing schematics. Basic understanding of plumbing fixtures and related installations for sinks, toilets, water heaters, eye wash stations, mixing valves, sprinklers, and drinking fountains.The following are general job accountabilities; General - Has a basic knowledge for roofing technology and be able to identify issues. - Performs a variety of general maintenance, repair, overhaul, and construction duties as assigned throughout all assigned locations.

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma or GED RequiredCertificate Program Vocational or Technical Schooling. Preferred

Work Experience:

2 years Relevant experience RequiredJourneyman Plumber Preferred

Driver's License Statement:

Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.

Courses and Training:
