Facilities Technician - Level II

**DESCRIPTION**
**_You will make an impact in the following ways:_**
**Facility management, compliance and maintenance**
+ **Monthly inspections** to be actioned and recorded e.g. ladder inspections, stairways, walkways etc.
+ **Shop 5S** - Prevention and maintenance; such as organising walkway lines to be painted etc
+ **Environmental compliance -** Coordination and management of branch compliance including but not limited to tank farm maintenance, water quality, organising drain warden replacements, etc. and reactive actions such as managing the oil leak underground
+ **Review and Analysis of Service department’s budget and expenses** - Understand where there may be areas to improve on expenses such as consumables, tooling purchases, etc
+ **Consumables management -** Ordering and maintaining inventory of workshop consumables (degreaser, brake clean, safety PPE, Loctite’s etc.)
+ **Mobile and fixed plant maintenance** – including but not limited to organising contractor’s to undergo service and maintenance, logging actions using existing tracker systems. Machinery includes cranes, truck hoists etc
+ **Management of local project and improvement initiatives –** upcoming initiative includes installation of new washbay
+ **Audit co-ordination and logistics** - supporting with auditors when they visit
**Contractor management**
+ SWMS and other safety documentation reviews
+ Permit reviews (e.g. working at heights)
+ Contractor safety check-ins
**Tool maintenance and calibration**
+ Physical calibration of tooling – currently onsite is a torque wrench calibration tool, moving forward more calibration tools will be purchased for use inclduing multimeter tester etc.
+ Completing calibration certificates
+ Data Upload - Indysoft
+ Potential for external training certification for tool calibrations

**Facilities Operation** - Manages occupant services (parking, janitorial services, food services, concierge, facility helpdesk, security and safety); manages the maintenance contracting process; develops and manages the facility’s operational planning requirements (temperature control, lighting, equipment replacement, water treatment and so forth).

**QUALIFICATIONS**
**Additional Information**
**Experience:**
+ Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred).
+ Basic level of field service or workshop related experience required.
+ Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with engine and/or electrical products.
+ You will need a locally valid driving permit
