The position will oversee the operation and maintenance of the plant’s utility systems, as well as lead engineering functions to ensure efficiency, compliance, and alignment with the company’s operational goals. This role requires strong leadership to drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.
Your Role
Lead and manage the Facility and Engineering team, fostering a high-performance culture and professional development.Oversee the operation and maintenance of plant utility systems and facilities to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability.Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while maintaining proper documentation.Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize processes and resolve technical issues.Lead engineering projects related to facility upgrades, expansions, and new installations.Manage the budget for facility operations and engineering projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness.Analyze data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives.Oversee relationships with vendors and contractors for facility services, maintenance, and equipment procurement.Who You Are
Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or a related Engineering field.Minimum 5 years of experience in plant utility systems operations (e.g., wastewater treatment, HVAC, IA/nitrogen supply, off-gas scrubbers), facility management, and engineering within a chemical manufacturing environment.Strong understanding of chemical processes, P&ID, and safety regulations.At least 5 years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and develop teams.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing projects from permit application and detailed design to construction, commissioning, and full operation.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.Familiarity with digitalization, Operational Excellence (OE), and Process Safety Management (PSM).Experience with SAP.
