**What You Can Expect:**
+ This is an exempt status role
+ The Facility Architect manages the professionals in the design of buildings and structures that may include alterations or repairs.
+ Works closely with stakeholders
+ Works with various end users and project support team members (IHT, SC, PMO, PS, BS, IP, etc.) to ensure a complete and comprehensive design solution
+ Work with Team members to establish, manage and control project scope, schedule and budget
+ Manage project risk
+ Resolves issues during construction
+ Works with AHJ’s, end users, PM’s, CM,s, contractors, etc. to resolve issues that arise during construction to an acceptable resolution.
+ Review shop drawings and other construction related submittals.
+ Review change orders
+ Review pay applications
+ Acts as liaison to outside architectural firms, engineering firms and building officials
+ Responsible for establishing consultant scopes of work
+ Responsible for establishing and adhering to design schedules
+ Responsible for QA/QC of consultant plans
+ Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff, select, develop, coach, mentor and assess performance of staff. Works with staff to promote resolution of conflict and counsel staff when standards are not met.
+ Oversee and guide efforts of Interior Design and System Planner
+ Establish processes and procedures for the effective and efficient management of design projects
+ Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
+ Oversee and manage Standards Committee
+ Develop and expand Project Management Manual
+ Increase use of Procore project management program
Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture
+ Experience: 5 years experience as an Architect
+ Licenses/Certifications: Licensed as an Architect in the State of Practice
