Supervise and give daily guidance and direction to the facility and mail room personnel. Perform regular \"sweeps\" of the workspace(s) to identify areas\/items\/equipment\/materials in need of repair, replacement or upgrade. Report all issues to the Facilities Manager, so as to correct.\n
Responsibilities:\n\nAct as back up to the FM for all facility vendors performing work for the client, act as liaison with property manager \nTake maintenance requests through the facility ticketing system, perform task and close out work orders as required. \nBalance daily workload among team, while supporting financial results by minimizing site overtime and labor costs. \nMust demonstrate leadership qualities while resolving interpersonal conflicts and nurturing team work among the diverse team\nTroubleshoot & oversee solutions to problems relating to the facility and any of its components. \nRespond to building and equipment alarms and emergency situations. Act as a conduit of information between facility management and communicate with TMG employees in emergency situations.\nLearn all aspects of mail operations and provide coverage during absences. In the case of employee nonattendance, must be able to perform the workload of the team.\nIn absence of the porter and utility assistant, complete porter services as necessary, could include trash can maintenance, kitchen cleaning, white board cleaning and conference room clean up.\nMonitor, track, order and stock office snacks and supplies while maintaining inventory sheets for the facility manager. \nAssist in set-up and break-down of meetings, lunches, and events\nPerform simple maintenance tasks including light bulb changes, assembly of furniture and accessories, HVAC filter changes, painting, small electrical and plumbing repairs, maintenance of kitchen area and appliances. \nManage the janitorial services for the building performed by contract janitorial personnel. \nTrain and become knowledgeable about all building systems and equipment in regard to their proper operations, maintenance, and repair\nAssist in the site space planning activities and implementation including internal moves\nKeep Millennium Group Management informed of operational efficiencies and potential problems.\nCollect data for reports and prepare monthly reports for management.\nAssist in preparation of annual employee appraisals and evaluating daily performance. May include coaching and counseling of an employee and providing constructive feedback and recognition to the teams as appropriate. Develop team strengths and improve weaknesses\nWork closely with the client to assure all standards and needs are exceeded.\nUtilizes knowledge of company culture, operations, policies, procedures in performing duties with minimal direction\/supervision.\nEnsure the highest levels of customer care.\nPerforms other duties as assigned\n\n

Qualifications:\n\nAssociates Degree or 3 years of management\/ Supervisory experience in mail, copy, facility and\/or office services. Trade or technical degree preferred.
\nAbility to demonstrate a high level of problem solving skills

\nProficiency with Microsoft office applications and good communication skills required
