Facility Departmental Assistant
Bell is looking for a Departmental Assistant to support the new manufacturing site location in Wichita, Kansas to support FLRAA.
This role provides administrative support for the site and will report to the General Manager.
This role is an onsite position.
What you will be doing as a Facility Departmental Assistant:
Preparing and submitting travel arrangements and expense reports.Maintaining/ordering/tracking office supplies, business cards.Serve as departmental PC Coordinator processing I.T. requests.Maintaining schedules and calendars for assigned leaders.Ensuring priority tasks as defined by a respective leader are immediately coordinated.Coordinating travel and customer visits/events.Supporting coordination of special projects and assignments, including departmental and company outreach/engagement initiatives.Operating office equipment, such as copiers, printers, or phone systems and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.Mail routing for executives and direct report teamServe as back up support for procurement of indirect supplies.Maintain Policy and Procedures for Facilities, including tracking of annual reviews.Manage and update the Facilities Dept SharePoint Site.Enter and track employee training in Textron UniversityOther duties as assigned.We’re more than aviation experts, we’re pioneers. At least 5 years of executive/departmental assistance experience.Must have Intermediate abilities in Concur or similar software.Must have Intermediate abilities in MS Outlook, Word, Excel.Must be able to type at least 50 wpm.Effective written and oral skills a necessity.Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds required.What you need to be successful:
High school diploma or GED required.Ability to work in a high paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMust possess the ability to prioritize and multi-task utilizing exceptional organizational time management skills.Project energy and enthusiasm to create an inviting atmosphere for all visitors and employees
