Job Purpose:

Maintains facilities and laboratory equipment or assets and/or improves machine performance and uptime while training in various areas of Facilities Engineering to become familiar with the system, policies and procedures and other aspects of Facilities Engineering. Primary focus is on facilities, services and machine and asset performance and uptime.

Job Duties:

This is a position, which works as part of a team, is designed to maintain or improve facility and laboratory asset uptime and maintain or improve system or equipment.

Obtaining knowledge of facility systems and processes are ongoing objectives for this position. Such as Chiller system, HVAC, BAS, Compressor system, PCW, Power, Special equipment and so on.

Obtaining knowledge of craft machines and processes such as hydraulics equipment, thermal management system, liquid cooling equipment, motor emulator, oven, charge/discharge tester, temperature chamber and so on.

Provide assistance to facility engineer on maintenance of machines. Analysis problems encountered and recommends design changes and rearrangement of support equipment to alleviate problems.  Troubleshoot equipment and systems malfunctions and recommend corrective or prevent action.

协助厂务工程师进行设备维护或维修，能否分析遇到的问题并提出解决方案，排除设备和系统故障并能提出纠正或预防措施。

Provide assistance to facility engineer on laboratory test or operation.

协助厂务工程师完成实验测试或运营工作。

Designs or assists with design of new equipment and/or systems installation.

Work with engineering team on tooling, process and quality problems.  Acquires parts and documentation needed by craft personnel to debug new equipment or diagnose problems with existing equipment. 

协助设计或能够设计新设备或系统的安装。与工程团队合作解决工具、工艺和质量问题。整理及归档新设备或诊断现有设备问题的零件和文档。

Adhere to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, hazardous material and ergonomics in performing assigned duties. 

工作时，遵守与质量、降低成本、安全、危险材料和人体工程学有关的既定标准、政策和实践。

Background / Experience:

The education and experience requirements for this position are to meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. Bachelors’ or 2-year Engineering Technology degree with 2 yrs relevant experience
2. No defined degree with 6 yrs relevant experience
