Are you ready to lead facility operations and drive safety and efficiency at our dynamic site?
We’re looking for a Facility Engineer to take the technical lead on all non-machine systems and infrastructure. You’ll be key in ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and compliance of our building systems, from HVAC to electrical and plumbing. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the Maintenance Manager and collaborate with the facility team to uphold sustainability, safety, and operational excellence at our state-of-the-art DYMO plant in Sint-Niklaas.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance and Repair: Manage the maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other systems. Develop and implement maintenance plans, support non-standard work preparation, and manage facility stock. Project Management: Plan and oversee facility projects, including renovations, working closely with contractors, budget approvals, and project documentation. Safety & Compliance: Maintain safety protocols, manage audits, and ensure all facilities meet compliance standards. Energy & Budget Management: Optimize energy usage and assist in budgeting to improve efficiency. Vendor Coordination & Documentation: Coordinate with contractors and keep accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance reports.

 

Qualifications:

Professional bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical education. Proficiency in building systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. Strong command of facility management software and MS Office. Fluent in Dutch & English. BA4/BA5 certification is a plus (training provided).
