About the role
Reworld Midwest Region is hiring a Facility Maintenance Mechanic– Come Join Us in Protecting Tomorrow – This position can be located at our Packard Rd. Niagara Falls, NY facility.
Position Description:
The Facility Maintenance Mechanic position is a skilled worker in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining all components of diesel, gasoline engines, heavy equipment, plumbing and electrical equipment, plumbing and building repairs.
Responsibilities:
Perform repairs/replacements on Shredders
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on all water treatment equipment to ensure that they operate efficiently and safely.
Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
Requirements:
Valid driver's license
Minimum of two years facility maintenance
Ability to work at heights
Ability to perform confined space entry and repairs in confined spaces
Demonstrate safe work behaviors
Must be able to provide your own hand tools, basic toolset. Company will provide necessary specialty tools.
Work Environment:
Duties require frequent and extended periods of outside and inside work, subject to all weather conditions and extremes; continuous walking, standing, climbing and frequent periods requiring sustained uncomfortable physical positions; regular and sustained periods of strenuous physical exertion, requiring the ability to lift, carry and position heavy objects utilizing proper body mechanics and techniques; operation of tools and equipment which cause loud noise and vibrations.
This position's expected hourly pay rate is $28 -$29.
This is a good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this position. The final salary figure will take into account various factors, including experience, ability, and location.
