Key Responsibilities:
Facility Operations Management: Ensure optimal performance of building infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems. Oversee daily operations and promptly address any issues.
Maintenance and Repair Oversight: Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life. Coordinate and supervise repair activities with contractors and service providers.
Budget Management: Prepare and manage facility budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations and adherence to financial targets. Approve and track expenses related to maintenance, repairs, and facility projects.
Safety and Compliance: Ensure that facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective measures as necessary.
Space Planning and Optimization: Assess current space utilization and recommend improvements for workflow and efficiency. Manage space allocation to support organizational changes.
Vendor Management: Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts with service providers, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective services. Monitor vendor performance and maintain strong relationships.
Energy Management and Sustainability: Implement energy-saving initiatives and monitor usage to promote sustainability. Propose and lead projects aimed at reducing the facility’s environmental impact.
Shared Services for Employees: Ensuring the smooth operation of Shared Services like – gym, creche, bungalow, pool car service etc. with designated team members.
Project Management: Lead renovation and upgrade projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met. In this section, it is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects within an organization. You are responsible for defining the project scope, setting objectives, and developing detailed plans while managing budgets and timelines. You will also coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment across stakeholders also vendors. This includes risk assessment, resource allocation, and proactive problem-solving to mitigate potential setbacks. A strong mindset that maintains a balance between strategic oversight and hands-on involvement, driving projects to completion on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding quality expectations.
Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and provide training to facility staff, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or a related field.
Diploma in Project Management
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in facility management or related roles.
Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, Projects etc.).
Proven experience in budget management and cost control.
Excellent project management skills and ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond promptly to urgent issues.
Proficiency in facility management software and general office applications.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Working Conditions:
On-site management with potential for occasional travel to additional locations (Bungalows, Factories etc.)
Availability for emergency response outside regular business hours.
